I am sure by this point you are all SICK of my shit but alas here I am once again explaining where I’ve been, what I have been up to and what I’m doing now. Continue reading “A Wee Update”
I’m sure I’m not the only one who has completely changed their morning routine since going into lockdown. Many peoples lives have been flipped upside down and this means old habits are out.
I haven’t been to work in nearly 2 months so I no longer have to jump out of bed at 6am, get ready for work and rush out the door for the 40 minute commute. Now that I’m stuck at home all the time my mornings are a billion times slower! Continue reading “Morning Routine in Quarantine”
It’s been a while since I’ve done a book review on the blog but given that it’s World Book Day and all that jazz I thought it might be nice to bring them back!
*Disclaimer: I haven’t actually finished this book yet, but I thought I would review a current read rather than backtrack through the books I finished a while ago* Continue reading “Book Review”
Oh haii there.
Bit awks popping on here considering I’ve been MIA for god knows how long! I have been ‘spiralling’ (thank you Shane Dawson for giving me this wonderful word to describe how I feel all the bloody time) and blogging has been put on the back burner.
I’m not gonna sit here and say “Guys I’m so sorry, I promise I’ll post more! I’ve been so busy!” You don’t want to hear it… and it’s not the whole truth.

*warning: this post may be a tad TMI*
I think it’s pretty safe to say there isn’t one gal out there that enjoys that ~special~ time of the month. I know I don’t, and even though I know deep down it isn’t good for my body, I’m pleased when I miss my period for whatever reason. Everything about it makes me moan in annoyance and I know I’m not alone in this boat.
(yes it’s another book review don’t hate me please)
I have been meaning to read The Sun is Also a Star for a loooong time, basically since I read Nicola’s other novel Everything, Everything (which you can read about >>here<<) so I finally stopped putting it off and read it.
So, in my last post I mentioned that I have been blasting through books (thanks compulsive need to read five chapters at time or nothing at all) and this is one of the books I have recently finished. Let’s get stuck in to a wee review, shall we??
I know ~another~ book review *rolls eyes* but in all seriousness, I’ve read a few over the past month so you should defo expect more. Soz in advance (not really tho). So today I’m reviewing Wonder by R.J. Palacio. Enjoy!
I wouldn’t say I’m a slow reader but good God I’ve been blasting through books lately (it’s gonna have to take a back seat until I get some uni work finished) and one of my recent reads was ‘The Keeper of Lost Things’ by Ruth Hogan!
