Eco-Friendly Skincare

Whether you’re young, old, male, female, or anything in between, you can’t really deny that skincare is an important and unavoidable part of our lives. So when you can make a few conscious changes in your routine to make it a bit more eco-friendly… why wouldn’t you?
I am soooooo bad for buying packet after packet of cotton pads because they are a staple in my skincare routine. I use them with cleansing water, cleansing oil, cleansing lotion, moisturiser, makeup remover… the list is never ending! I can’t give up cotton pads because they are such a huge part of my routine, but I can make a small change that will help the environment in the long run!

So I popped online and stated looking for reusable cotton pads that will not only cut down on waste, but also save me money over time! I found >>these<< ones on Amazon and by a brand called PureXT bought them in a heartbeat!

I immediately bunged them into the washing machine (per the products instructions) to ensure they were clean before using them on my skin and used them that night to remove my makeup.

I just wanna say that I have never used anything as soft and gentle on my skin! These pads are made from 3 layers of organic and natural bamboo fibre, come with their own cotton laundry bag to wash them in and come in 100% recyclable packaging! What could be better? You get 16 pads and they are a great size for doing whatever it is you want them to do!

I’m so glad I made the switch to a more sustainable way to do my skincare and I would urge everyone to make the switch too! You can wash these bad boys a million times and they come out as good as new each time!

Do you use eco-friendly products? Are there any tips and tricks you would like to give me?

Until next time…

C.
