In my 2017 goals post I said that I wanted to be fitter and do more exercise. So far, I haven’t really been doing a whole lot more exercise than I did in 2016, however I do aim to be fitter every single day, and to help me with this I bought myself a Morefit watch.This watch is a lot like the Fitbit. It tracks your steps, tells you how many calories you burn, how many miles you walked and how long you have been walking throughout the day. It also has a built in timer so you can time how long it takes you to run a certain distance or (if you’re like me) how long you can hold your breath before you see stars.
One major difference between my Morefit and the Fitbit was the price. When I purchased this, it was on sale from £50 to £29.99, but £50 is still a huge bargain compared to the £80+ price tag of a Fitbit. For such a cheap alternative, it really hasn’t disappointed.
There is an app called ‘Veryfit’ which connects to the watch via Bluetooth and it basically shows you everything that the watch already shows, but you can view how restful your sleep was and it gives you a graph to summaries whether you have met your goal each day. You can also take pictures from the app using the watch, so you can have your hands free in the photograph (how cool is that?).
You can choose from a variety of colours (I went with baby pink) and the screen is just a nice size so that the watch doesn’t look extremely bulky on your wrist. Unfortunately, this watch is currently unavailable to purchase at the moment and the manufacturers aren’t sure when it will be available to be sold again.
I am loving this watch, it has made me so much more aware of how much I walk during the day and it’s so interesting to see what days I am more active. Plus, I have been getting up at 6am every morning so I can squeeze in a quick walk before school, so it has been beneficial to my life in other ways too.
