One with Nature

Hello Everybody!

Isn’t it nice to get out and get some good ol’ fresh air into your lungs? With the weather being slightly colder than we’re used to, it’s tempting to sit indoors in front of a cosy fire, but Autumn/Winter is probably the best time of the year to go on lil’ nature walks. You can go with your family, friends, dog, cat, neighbour, or you can simply go alone and listen to the tranquil sound of the leaves rustling in the wind or the gentle flow of a river. This morning, the air was crisp and dry and the ground was covered in a sparkling layer of frost- it was magical! I took this opportunity to take my dog out for a walk (and toilet time) and snap a few winter aesthetic pics. I didn’t go far, just around the land we own next to our house. It was soso peaceful and, honestly, I would love to be able to start every day like this.

My family and I then went to the beach and got some fish a chips (these simple moments are the ones I deem most special). I know what you’re all thinking, “Why on earth would anyone go to the beach in November?” and I don’t blame you. It was cold and windy and I couldn’t feel my nose after a while… but it was quite and peaceful and we had the whole beach to ourselves (apart from a couple of surfers). The beach isn’t just for warm, sunny days in July, it’s there all year round so we may as well use it!

Sunday’s have always been my favourite day of the week because Sunday is ‘family day’ in my house and spending quality time with your loved ones is oh so important!

What’s your favourite day of the week and why? Have you ever been to the beach in a storm (I have and it’s fantastic) ?

Until next time…

C.
